Vicki visited the church Mark was attending on the advice of a co-worker. She accepted Jesus as her Saviour shortly after an evangelism visit from Mark and Curt Heffelfinger.

After Mark and Vicki teamed up in an evangelism class together, Mark asked Vicki out on a date to see a play at Upper Merion High School.

In the garden gazebo of Stokesay Castle, Mark proposed to Victoria Lee MacIntyre. She gave a resounding "Yes" and they went inside, ascending the castle's staircase, to enjoy a private dinner in the turret room surrounded by 12 dozen roses,

Our wedding was the first service in the brand new building of Christ Church of Valley Forge, in Strafford, PA. It was the hottest day of the year that year... and the church didn't yet have any air conditioning!

Right after our seventh wedding anniversary Vicki had our boy, Jonathan Ryan at the Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. We were both excited and scared about how to handle this new bundle of joy.

Katelyn Erin was almost born on the steps of Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, PA. The easiest birth of all three, her bright smile made all the growing pains better, every day.

Our surprise Baby, Shea Victoria, arrived during the second year in our Birdsboro house. Born at the Reading Hospital, Reading, PA., she had two much older siblings to mama her in those early years!

Colleen and Jonathan Eckert married 09/19/2009. Katelyn and Dave Steele married 08/27/2011. Shea and Jordan Kopp married 10/12/2020. We have been so very blessed with our children and their spouses!

What fun being a grandparent is. Such wonderful memories watching each of them grow to become wonderful young men and ladies!
